Description :

In ancient times Villa Il Tramonto served as a lookout tower within the lemon terraces. Then, in 1875, following the abandonment of the adjacent Church of Lone, the turret was transformed into the Sacred Chapel to house, until the early 1900s, the Madonna di Lone.

On that occasion, the first decorations were carried out on the vaults that still exist. In the early 1920s it was transformed into a residential house. In 2010, the current owners carried out important restorations to make it a luxury and total comfort location.

THE EXTERIORS :

To reach the property there are 104 steps to climb from the coastal road. The stairs are the characteristic of all the houses in Amalfi which was built on the slopes of the mountain that embraces the sky and sea. It is a very romantic Villa with a spectacular panorama; ideal for those who want a holiday immersed in tradition and the scents of the sea and nature.

The Villa, surrounded by a large lemon grove, has a large fully equipped solarium area, of about 200 square meters, with an amazing sea view from which to enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Adjacent to the solarium area we have a Jacuzzi, a relaxation area and a living area where you can spend time with friends and taste delicious  appetizers. In addition, for sports lovers, we also have a super-equipped fitness area with absolutely state-of-the-art machinery.

THE INTERIORS :

The Villa is on two floors, on the main floor we have a large living room with double sofa bed (160x190) and a balcony with sea view, adjacent to it we have a service bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the living room, on the mezzanine floor, for a quick breakfast. The sleeping area  it consists of 3 double bedrooms with 3 en-suite bathrooms. The fourth bedroom with en-suite bathroom is located in an independent position from the Villa, which is accessed via a panoramic terrace, and has a patio with an amazing sea view equipped with armchairs for the exclusive use.

The Villa is ideal for 8 people but has a maximum capacity of 10.

Particular of the room are the windows with 13 portholes with a breathtaking sea view.

Bedroom 4 - double bed (on request 2 single beds), En-suite bathroom with shower 80x80, Air conditioning, TVsat, Safe, Mini fridge, Kettle, Coffee machine, Panoramic sea view terrace with sitting area. It also has a panoramic terrace with exclusive use.

Surroundings :

The Amalfi Coast is structured as a long strip of land divided into indented coasts and beautiful beaches.

Among the most beautiful places not to be missed are Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Vietri sul mare, etc.

Absolutely to visit the jewel of the Amalfi coast: the natural reserve called 'Valle delle Ferriere'.

Each visitor must then complete their stay with an excursion on the famous path called 'Path of the Gods'. The path is slightly difficult. It is about 8 km of trail. It takes almost 2.30 / 3 hours.

The sea can be reached by going to Amalfi in just 5 minutes by car and then from here take the ferry with departures every 30 minutes that will take you directly to the Duoglio beach.
